This is my online portfolio for my study abroad trip to Latvia as a student of Russian and international affairs! I've been given the ability to study abroad here with the help of the competitive Benjamin Gilman Scholarship and this portfolio is part of my commitment to the grant. This website documents interesting facts and finding about Latvia and its culture as it relates to both my Russian and political knowledge.
The silly title of this website "Amerikanka in Latvia," is a play on words which relates to the Russian translation [американка] for a woman from America.
